As
the sun went down we traveled through the Northern entrance
to the Lamaire Channel. It is a 7 mile long and 1 mile
wide channel that separates Booth Island from the Antarctic
continent. The snow covered mountains lined both sides
creating this spectacular scenery often referred to as
"Kodak Alley".
