These were the largest Hippos
we saw. They cannot swim so when you see them their feet are on the
ground

Shoebill Stork has prehistoric
looks. Height up to 5 feet tall and 14 pounds. The hook on his beak
is for hooking fish. They tend to be nocturnal and very elusive. They
can live up to 50 years. Bird watchers come from all over the world
to see the few left in existence. Our guide said some literally cry
when they do see them, but most go home without the experience. We saw
two!
