The
history and settings of Lucy Maud Montgomery's famous novel
"Anne of Green Gables". The old farmhouse depicted
in the novel belonged to cousins of Montgomery where she
spent much time in her youth. She said often when she was
interviewed she had a difficult time as people didn't think
of "Anne" as a fictional character. The house
portrays what the book setting might have been. A beautiful
garden and many walking trails surround the house. There
are many stores in town that sell "Anne" everything.
